Another piece for pet portraiture practice, this time of a friend's shiz tsu dubbed "Mr Tibbs" or "Tibby". I just fell in love with the reference photo, especially the dog's facial expression that reminds me of that minor state of alertness animals seem to display even when they look comfortable and relaxed.
About Meagan Visser
I would like to still consider myself an emerging artist still dabbling in various subject matter, mediums and styles. I'm highly influenced by the rural lifestyle I have grown up in all my life as well as my love of all aspects of nature, especially animals, and the figures and subject matter of pop culture. My work is developing around a few main styles, most if not all are featured here in one way or another.
