Artist's Description
Although difficult to tell from this image, this painting was painted using the wooden handle end of the brush instead of the bristles. This was the first painting in which I had tried this technique while in studio courses. This painting references a stomach MRI scan found from an online resource.
About Meagan Visser
I would like to still consider myself an emerging artist still dabbling in various subject matter, mediums and styles. I'm highly influenced by the rural lifestyle I have grown up in all my life as well as my love of all aspects of nature, especially animals, and the figures and subject matter of pop culture.
