Artist's Description

This piece came about after a recent trip to the Yellowstone region near Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. The grizzly and wolf discovery center in West Yellowstone, Montana provided an amazing opportunity to photograph two packs of gray wolves and several very large grizzly bears. An amazing experience nonetheless. I was quite captivated by these two, who I think were the alpha male and female of the one pack, and decided to use them for a new fur technique I am trying out compared to past works of wolves I have done.

About Meagan Visser

Meagan Visser

I would like to still consider myself an emerging artist still dabbling in various subject matter, mediums and styles. I'm highly influenced by the rural lifestyle I have grown up in all my life as well as my love of all aspects of nature, especially animals, and the figures and subject matter of pop culture. My work is developing around a few main styles, most if not all are featured here in one way or another. Feel free to contact me in terms of available original works, commissions, ideas, comments , etc. I greatly look forward to hearing from you, and thanks again for taking a moment to sneak a peek and comment on my work!
