Caricatures

Once upon a time in the not so distant past, I could occasionally be found doing caricatures of friends and family.
I do have samples of these works other than the outdated one of my crazy friend on a rainbow pony riding through the desert, for those who are interested. The Process

These pieces are generally created by taking the hand drawn and coloured caricature figure or figures that I draw referenced from photographs. Carefully the figures are either left without a background, or a background is added by either having one drawn in, or by carefully cutting the figures out and placing them on a photographed background.

The potential for these fun works are endless with many possibilities by bringing your favourite family or friend poses from a variety of photos together into one image of perhaps an exotic background or a cherished place. I have done quite a few of these and always had fun putting them together.
